Express Report-Series from the Exchange Delegation of SITC

[Express Report 1]

The first Student Exchange Project between Shanghai Information Technology Collage (SITC) and ROC Westerschelde in Terneuzen, Holland, has formerly begun. The exchange delegation of SITC (including ten students majoring in Chemical Technology and three teachers) left Shanghai from Pudong Airport at 10:35, 9th Sep. 2006. After about an twelve-hour-flight, they arrived at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdan at local time 15:35, which was 21:35 Beijing time.

 

Teachers from ROC Westerschelde warmly welcomed the delegation at the exit of the airport. After two hours of highway travel, the delegation arrived at Churchill Hotel in Terneuzen, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold from ROC Westerschelde had been waiting to meet the exchange delegation from SITC.

 

In the restaurant of the hotel, Mr. Arnold introduced the schedule of the student exchange project in Holland and handed out the written materials of this schedule to all the students who were present then, including parents of those Dutch students. Dinnertime was happy and comfortable for everybody. After the dinner, every home stay family picked up our students home one after another. And Mr. and Mrs. Arnold drove the three teachers from SITC to the home of Mr. Frank, a teacher from ROC Westerschelde.

Everything was going on smoothly on the day of arrival and it could be considered as a good beginning of success.
